   I am settled in USA, my parents, age 86 and 81 are in Delhi. Mother is in good health and fully mobile, father has severe arthritis and needs some help in doing his chores; I am looking for some placement for them in or around Delhi. Your information seems to be excellent and very helpful. I am looking for a respectable place for them, I am not looking for charity. If you can offer some specific advice, I will be very grateful.

    I have this dream, of some day having an ‘Old Age Home’ project of mine. Very passionate about this field of geriatrics. Am a professional psychologist and a coach.

    My idea about the project is to have a model old age home that India has never seen before – a family away from family – having a respectable place. Many well-meaning children have set out with their dreams but left with a daunting task of finding a safe, secure homelike accomodation with geriatrics care! Many of their parents have been great citizens of our country and so much to offer to the ‘lost’ younger ones with whom they can share so much wisdom. So my project will aim at bringing both age groups in a unique plan! Many look to pay and find an independant cottage for their parents and many can afford on-share with another couple for life…..my dream sees it all there in a beautiful lush green campus!!

    If there is anyone who would like to share data on how to go about funding for my – so called – life-work then I will be delighted to hear from you! Thank you for your time and attention!

    I just wanted to know if there is any ‘ modern’ type old age home any where in Delhi ? By ‘modern’ – I mean – a place with moden amenities like sports and club etc.
    A place where one would like to shift to willingly – not being forced by circumstances. No doubt it would cost a lot.

    Passing time with old age people is one of my hobbies and I really hate that we have OLD AGE HOME in UNIVERSE as if their children take care of them then why would they struggle in this age but we are there for them….would like to be part of such old age home but my motive to join them to try to give their children back in their life and their home too

    I am writing to enquire about facility of old age homes in Gurgaon /Delhi/Noida. My parents had moved 3 years back to Canada with us, unfortunately now my father is alone now as I lost my mother recently, he is staying with us. He is intersted to spend 4 to 5 months every year in Gurgaon/Delhi Can any one please provide the details of a good facility which is a good old age home, with good services of food /cleaning /recreation etc. and is open for monthly payments, my dad is fully mobile and self sufficient and is 73 years old.

    I am so glad we from abroad can write. My Father Mr. Anthony Gonsalvez aks Toni was living in Ozanam old age home, he died there in 1981, at time I could not make it to India. I would like to find out if he had any of his things left as I am looking for a family album, it is the most valuable sentiment in my life as being in an orphanage convent we did not see much of our family so please I beg of you if it is still there do get in touch with me.     i m Dinesh i m doing job ,and my dream is to do somthing 4 others specially old people. bec i think they r just like our shadow. whole life they lookafter us , save from every thing, now its our turn we should lookafter them. i just want to share mylife with them. i want to spend some time with them. i just want that thay r not alone we r with them. can i spend some time with them. ican denote a couple of hours inweekends .plzz guide me . i live in noida sec 34
